BLUEPRINT MAGAZINE LAUNCH
JUNE 3, 2015
CHANCELLOR'S RESIDENCE, UCLA
Blueprint is UCLA’s new policy magazine for Southern California. Each issue of Blueprint will be built around a theme and will seek to present groundbreaking research. The magazine will also feature profiles and interviews, and take stock of the interesting people and ideas at the center of this region’s civic life. Blueprint’s job is to explain academic work, suggest ideas for change and engage readers and leaders in a conversation about how to tackle the most pressing problems of this region and state. It’s meant to start conversations, not finish them.
The magazine was launched with an al fresco gathering at the Chancellor’s Residence. Attendees included Los Angeles and California policymakers, university, government and community leaders, heads of non-profits think tanks, and relevant commissioners, and special guests.
